Got out to see a midnight IMAX screening of Avatar last night. The place wasn’t sold out… which surprised me… but I guess that’s not to surprising considering the movie is 2 hours 40 minutes long on a work night, which meant we didn’t get out of the theater until almost 3am.

Still… GREAT movie. Here’s my review:

	Great review. After this and James Cameron’s interview last night on AOTS, I am completely excited to see it tonight. Did you see it in 3-D? If so, did it feel gimmicky, or was it just a part of the experience? Anyway, great review!

	no, it doesn’t push things in ur face, it adds SO much DEPTH to EVERYTHING, that it makes you feel THERE

	John I completely agree with your review. I absolutely loved Avatar and was totally blown away by the animation that was done on the film. Some of the dialogue was a bit cliche by overall it was a great experience! Good review man!

	I just went to see Avatar a second time in the same theater, and I am 90% sure that there was a small part of it missing from the last time I saw it there (trust me, I was looking for it, I think I would have seen it again). Is this possible? Do you think there were some parents out there complaining about it, and James Cameron rushed new copies of the film out to the theaters?
