Well I went out to see the new Denzel Washington movie “The Book Of Eli”. The trailers for it have looked pretty solid… was it worth it? Hell yes.

Watching this, I am now going to go see this movie. At first I thought it looked awesome, but as the release date came I found myself thinking “Eh, I’ll wait till it comes out on Blu-Ray” but now I want to see it haha.
Yes, John just sold me on paying to watch this at a cinema. The Hughes Brothers sure take their time. I want them to do a huge franchise film because I think they could pull it off. Hell give them Superman!

“movie bob” from “escapistmagazine.com” hated it. He can be harsh at times, but i’d rather be safe than sorry.

Have you seen The Road? If so how would you compare the “post apocalyptic” feel and look of each film to the other? You said this movie had the “closest to what you think it would be like” but I really can’t see anything beating the post apocalyptic world seen in The Road.

Question for you. As a former minister do you think that this film heavily incorporating religion into its storyline influenced your positive opinion of this film? Just curious! Great review!
John what did you think about the ending without spoilng? A lot and I mean a lot of people are giving the ending a lot of crap. What are your views on it?
